I'm John Gavin.

 

Most weekends you'll find me making folk

laugh in a comedy club.

 

I started comedy after my wife put me in

for a competition without my knowledge. A

month later I ended up in the final of 'So

you think you're funny' 2008. The following

year I won the title 'Scottish Comedian of

the Year'.

 

As well as playing clubs like Glee, The

Stand, Frog & Bucket, Highlight, and

Jongleurs you will also find me in any of

the independent gigs that run up and down

the UK.

 

You might even see me doing theatre tours

with the likes of the Gilded Balloon or

performing at music festivals like T in the

park or Rockness.
